Join the PTA

Dear Parents:

It has always been the mission at Tomasita to encourage and support our students, parents, and teachers and there is no better way to do that than to get involved with PTA.  We feel it is very important for our children to see their families involved in their education.

Our school relies on volunteers to assist with all our special events and the PTA is the volunteer team they turn to.  It is through the strong volunteer efforts of our parents and the dedication of our teachers that we are able to offer so many activities throughout the school year.

PTA is the primary fundraising source at the school; we help provide grants to each of our grade levels so our kids can take exciting field trips, and have extra academic programs for their classrooms. We sponsor other wonderful events for our students to enjoy, like Movie Night, Open House, Honor Awards Assembly, Fall Festival, Book Fair, and so much more.

Membership dues are $6.00 a year and can be paid at any PTA event or turned into your student’s teacher.  Please take the time to read about our many events, and fill out the Volunteer Request and PTA Membership forms.  Your involvement is how Tomasita and our PTA stay strong to help our kids achieve success. You can truly make a difference!
